Accommodations

The term accommodation refers to anything that is done differently to make a situation accessible. The Disability Handbook presents numerous accommodations suggested by and for students with disabilities in higher education in response to diverse challenges they encounter throughout their curriculum. These accommodations are applicable to a wide range of scenarios beyond higher education settings. This section is the result of the combination of two parts of my research: it presents essential knowledge on diverse disabilities found in higher education, followed by a list of accommodations specific to each of them.
